Oregon Department of Forestry’s mission is to serve the people of Oregon by protecting, managing, and promoting stewardship of Oregon’s forests to enhance. The Oregon Forest Practices Act requires a notification to be filed before beginning any forest operation and a permit to be obtained for any operation that uses fire or power driven machinery.
